On behalf of everyone at Denham Village School I would like to welcome you to our school website. I hope that you will find it informative, interesting and that it gives you a deeper insight into what makes our school so special. As the school enjoys its 143rd anniversary we are moving towards an exciting time in its future and warmly invite parents and children to become a part of this.

Denham Village school is a hidden gem in the county of Buckinghamshire. In a semi-rural position it combines the feel of a countryside setting with local amenities close to hand. The school has outstanding facilities with extensive outside play areas that include a playground, field, state of the art hall, STEM suite and Forest School.

Denham Village School is a bright and welcoming place where everyone is treated as a uniquely talented individual.  We strive to ensure that every member of our school community is able to achieve their best and to promote a love of learning that we hope will stay with our pupils long after they have left us.  The school day is enriched with firsthand learning experiences including our fantastic onsite Forest School.  The curriculum is further enhanced by half termly trips to museums, theatres and other venues that support topics being taught.

We believe in educating the whole child so that they can grow to be independent learners with a thirst for knowledge.  Our school values of respect, resilience, kindness, aspiration and independence underpin the way we interact in school and live our lives. Our aim is to develop a school environment that is engaging, exciting and enriched in learning opportunities that enable everyone to reach new heights. Our school motto is ‘Branching Out and Growing Together’ and to that end we support, help and learn together to enable all pupils to go from strength to strength and realise their aspirations.

Within our community, we welcome the parents and carers of our pupils, acknowledging the vital role they play in the education of their children. An active partnership and effective collaboration between home and school ensures our children are provided with a start to their life that they deserve as unique individuals.
