Welcome to Downham Church of England Primary School. At Downham we passionately believe in working towards helping every child realise their full potential. We also believe that education is a shared responsibility between home and school.  As such, we endeavour to ensure that parents are kept fully informed about school life and their child’s learning. We encourage the involvement of our parents throughout their time at school. Our school staff, governors, parents and pupils work together to create an ethos in which each person feels valued and respected as a member of our school and wider community.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other workers in the school to share this commitment.

All prospective parents are encouraged to make an appointment to visit the school.
