The Cardwell Wheel is our logo and ‘Learning for Life’ is our motto and captures our belief in the unique quality and ability of every individual. Each segment of the wheel represents a part of our planned actions to remove barriers to learning, build lasting partnerships and raise aspirational achievement as well as keeping the school as a valued and integral part of our local and wider community.

Cardwell Primary School is recognised by Unicef as a Rights Respecting School. The safeguarding and welfare of our children is at the core of our beliefs and all children are aware of their rights and responsibilities.

Our aim is to ensure that the talents and strengths of every child are nurtured, encouraged, developed and celebrated.
