I am very proud to welcome you to the website of Castle Cary Community Primary School.

I hope it will give you an insight into our school’s vision through painting a picture of the exciting opportunities offered. Our mission is to create and inspire happy, successful, confident and responsible learners who strive to be the best they can be.

Set in the thriving market town of Castle Cary in the heart of the Somerset countryside, we are an important part of the local community and we pride ourselves on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere in our school, where our pupils feel valued and safe.
Our dynamic and talented staff teach a creative and varied curriculum, enriched through a range of experiences both and in and out of the classroom. The school has three core learning values – creativity, independence and collaboration which are interwoven into all we do. Our supportive yet challenging environment promotes our expectation that all children should be able to make outstanding progress from their starting points.
