I hope that this website will help you to understand what makes Castleton an amazing school and an amazing place to be.

It is a place where your child can become whatever they would like to be by giving them a range  of  knowledge and  interchangeable skills that equip them for the future. In partnership with you we help children to become self- confident, to be good communicators, to be adventurous, to be able to recognise risk, to be able to work effectively within a team, to be the leaders of the future  and to be caring members of our community. We want each child to achieve the best possible standards from their starting off points and we work tirelessly to that effect. 

we are very proud to be a Rights Respecting Gold school and this permeates everything we do, along with our vision of how our children learn best. 

The website provides a lot of very useful information and guidance as well as policy information, holiday dates and reminders. Please also use your child’s private Facebook Page to share in what your child in learning, what they know and celebrating what they can do. 

It also holds links to Parent Mail where you can book Parents’ Day appointments and pay for school events. There is a link to the site needed to pay for school meals and to book what your child will have before they come to school. There is also a link to Parent View so you can give us your feedback about how well we are doing- feedback is always appreciated as it makes us better! 

At Castleton every child matters, and so do their family. By working closely with a child’s adults and our community we help to solve problems in times of difficulty as they arise and ensure that every child gets the best opportunities and reaches their potential.
