It gives me great pleasure to serve as the new Headteacher of Cedars Manor School.  I am very proud to have been appointed to such an important and responsible position and I am looking forward to working in partnership with you all.   Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are important to me and must form the basis of all that we do together.  Prior to my appointment, I was Deputy Headteacher at a highly successful school in Harrow so I am fully aware of the importance of great teachers, great pupils and a great community!

An excellent offer of a good education, along with community and family support, determination and encouragement, changed my life: I believe that an excellent education will not only change your child’s life, but it will also make our local community stronger and the powerhouse that it strives to be and can be.  A world-class city like ours needs a highly skilled and ambitious workforce so we all need to work together to make sure that our young people have the confidence, qualifications and skills necessary to be able to take their place in a highly technical and competitive world.  At Cedars Manor, we are ‘Sowing the Seeds for Success’ so that this becomes a reality for our children.  So that they achieve educational excellence, that they can build upon, as they continue their journey beyond our school.

As Headteacher, I will make it my duty to support our children and provide them with opportunities so that they can achieve the highest academic standards and develop their unique individual talents to the full.  With a strong partnership between home and school, I believe that together, we can achieve this.

One of my goals this year is to build upon and improve your child’s progress and attainment at Cedars Manor.  We will be working together to shape our new school values which we want the whole school community to embrace.  This is an exciting time for parents both new and longstanding.

I am really proud of my hardworking and dedicated staff; very proud of all of our pupils and extremely proud to be part of such a special local community.  I would also be happy to meet with you in person if you would like to book an appointment to see me.

Your children get one chance at a great education and we will be doing all that we can to make sure this is achieved.
