Dover Grammar School for Girls is a unique school which has a long tradition of high academic standards combined with a strong caring community. As Headteacher I am very excited to be working collaboratively with the students, staff and parents of this exceptional school. I am committed to an environment where students are confident, happy and valued. DGGS is an innovative school where members of staff are encouraged to look constantly at various ways of improving every aspect of our work. From teaching and learning to enrichment, we strive to do the best for all students in our care.

We believe that our students will develop the character values of mutual respect, intellectual curiosity, compassion, courage and, above all, a strong moral purpose. As a school, we encourage our students to have an infectious enthusiasm for life and develop high levels of integrity whilst achieving the very best academic results. With boys joining in the 6th form, we hope all our students will develop into confident, compassionate young people, fully prepared for life in the 21st Century.
