On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Hamstead Junior School website.
It is our mission for the school community to provide a safe, nurturing and happy environment for our pupils to learn and grow into confident, independent and motivated individuals.
At Hamstead Junior School, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum delivered through exciting and stimulating activities. More information about the curriculum experienced by the children can be found on this website and we hope that parents find the curriculum overviews for learning in each year group useful in supporting their child’s learning.
As a school community we strive to be caring and nurturing; as we aim to prepare all children well, both academically and socially, during their time with us so that they are well equipped for the next stage of their education and for future life beyond the school.
We encourage parents to work in partnership with school to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our children. We look forward to developing and continuing this partnership as your child moves through the school.
