Holy Angels English High School, Bhayandar is one of the premium English medium school and under the dynamic leadership of the Principal Mr. Joseph Sebastian the school has progressed tremendously. The school has been awarded as one of the best school in entire Mumbai as per the survey conducted by The Times of India group consecutively for two years.
The school has been achieving 100% result in SSC examination since last 13 years. The topper Master. Rohit Redekar scored 95.6% and made the school proud. The students of Holy Angels won the First Prize in All India Science Exhibition at district level in which around 1000 schools participated. Also the Holy Angelians won the First Prize in Mira- Bhayandar Science Exhibition.
Another feather was added to its cap by achieving an incredible triumph in Maharashtra State Level Folk Dance Competition “Nrutya Malhar” held at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch at Pune . The team of Holy Angels won Third prize among 3,00,000 participants. In this grand competition, schools from 37 districts from all over Maharashtra participated.
The school well- equipped & hygienic classrooms with the modern educational software including STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Entire campus is under CCTV surveillance with implementation of all safety measures. Daily interaction with Parents is done on daily basis through Parent Information System Special classes are held for improvement of English linguistic skills, Handwriting & Mathematical abilities( Abacus & Vedic Maths) . To encourage students in sports special classes for Chess ,badminton & Athletics are conducted by professional trainers. All students of the school are Insured under Group Insurance Scheme & Free complete Health Check-up is held every year for Students & Parents. The school motivates and prepares the students for competitive exams and for this conducts National level competitive exams like Olympiad, Spellbee etc. And we reaped success as ourS little angel bagged the International Bronze Medal in SOF International English Olympiad. Our students won First prizes in Inter-school handwriting Manthan competition in both Secondary & Primary sections. They won inter-school Kho-Kho match in Scorpion competition. Our students won second prize in Inter – school DSO competition in Kho –Kho.
Along with academic and sports our students excelled in the Art arena too by winning the first prize in Dance & Painting inter-school Manthan & Scorpion competition. Our students stood first in inter-school Rangoli making, Painting & Dance competitions held at Worli. Along with all these accolades, our students did exemplarily well in the in- house competitions that were held throughout the year. A very interactive workshop which focused on Personality development was very successfully completed for the girls of the std. VIII by Avanti Foundation. A successful free Medical Camp was held for the students & parents in collaboration with Lion’s club. A free Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) was conducted. Our school has well- equipped & hygienic classrooms with the modern educational software including STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). A three day informative & interactive workshop was conducted for our teachers by ENERGIA –SOI.
The school has been a constant motivation for the students with special needs and one of the special child Miss. Pritty Abraham secured ‘Special Jury Appreciation’ award for her outstanding performance in a musical contest organized by Gloria Radio, USA.
To instill the values of compassion, brotherhood & an understanding for other’s pain among our students, we conducted a drive to help the flood affected people of Kerala. As a result of this drive we contributed Rs.2,00,000/- to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund .The Cheque was presented to the State’s Education Minister Prof. Ravindranath & Agriculture Minister Mr. V.S. Sunilkumar by our Hon’ble Principal Mr. Joseph Sebastian.
